Rory Dowling, a luthier based in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, meticulously builds instruments for discerning players worldwide. Rory has developed a reputation for building instruments that are truly personal and unique to his clients. “It starts with a good chat”, says Dowling. The relationship and understanding of the player’s needs along with an extraordinary knowledge of woods and the roles they play in tone production, alongside precise and innovative construction all combine to make an instrument that is individual for the player in every way, from tonal palette and response level to ergonomic comfort and aesthetics.
Delighted to be back at HGGS 2020, to see some old faces, meet some new and chat all things guitars!
