Nic Delisle is a member of The Mile End Guitar Coop in Montreal, Canada. He builds contemporary reinterpretations of classics from the Sears catalog. Each guitar is built one-by-one, entirely by hand, using responsibly sourced, quality materials. Nic’s keen eye for design is faithful to that bygone era, while modern construction techniques and premium parts and timbers improves stability, playability and integrity of the instrument. Using reclaimed timbers, proprpietary pickups, custom made hardware, subtle detailing and eco-friendly finishes, ISLAND guitars retain the unique vibe of an old oddity, while meeting the standards of today’s musicians.
