Welcome to the fifth edition and Grand Finale of The Holy Grail Guitar Show!

A rare opportunity to see some of the most beautiful and exquisite instruments in the world returns to Berlin, on Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3, 2020 – don’t miss this unique event!

Once again a colorful and even more varied cast of over 130 luthiers hailing from all corners of the globe will be presenting their hand-built instruments at the Estrel Hotel and Convention Center in Berlin. Continuing the successful concept of the previous editions, which established The Holy Grail Guitar Show as one of the world’s prime exhibition venues for handmade high-end guitars of all kinds, this fifth edition will also feature a great offering of live Instrument Demos and Public Lectures.

For two days Berlin will again become a major destination for guitar lovers: a colorful variety of the most creative and interesting guitar builders from all over the world will present their creations at The Holy Grail Guitar Show — including many select special pieces and unique new models! Continuing the successful concept of the previous four editions the Grand Finale again offers new attractions combined with long-time friends together with an appealing program of live instrument demos and lecture.

  • 135 exhibitors
    The luthiers will be present at their table to answer questions, demonstrate the instruments, and also to take orders or conduct sales
  • The opportunity to see and try a huge selection of the world’s most eclectic instruments in one place
  • A rotating exhibitor roster
    There are many more luthiers deserving to be shown than we can possibly accommodate in any given year. For this reason it was decided to rotate exhibitors – some may exhibit one year, and not the next – so as to give more builders a chance to be seen
  • A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
  • A full program of live Instrument Demos
    A series of Instrument Demos in an intimate setting will feature various makers and their instruments in action. These are free of charge but have a limited amount of seats.
  • Lectures and seminars
    There will be Lectures and Seminars of interest to the visitor by renowned luthiers and others about topics related to the guitar. These are free of charge but have a limited amount of seats.
  • Test cabins for electric and acoustic guitars and basses
    To help reduce the overall volume, a number of test cabins. The sound cabins are equipped with classic amps (electric, acoustic, bass) as well as without amps for acoustic instruments. There are also some without amps to test acoustic and classic instruments.
  • A full-color catalogue
    A free Show Catalogue featuring all exhibitors will be available at the entrance. It will also contain a map to the exhibit area and individual luthiers tables.
