Beauregard guitars are 100% handcrafted in a small shop near Montréal, Québec, in the picturesque small town of St-Denis-sur-Richelieu. Neither CNC’s nor countless jigs are used in the creation of a Beauregard guitar.
Through many years of honing his skills and developing acoustic comprehension, Mario Beauregard’s reputation was earned by producing the very highest quality acoustic instruments. Tone and playability are always his top priorities. Through many trips to the Canadian west coast and Europe, Mario has chosen the finest tone woods which he carefully processes and stores.
It will be Mario’s honor and a pleasure to build an instrument that will suit the very high standard of the serious guitarist.

Di Donato Guitars was established many years ago as a workshop of bowed instruments near Venice, Italy. With great passion for legendary guitarists and the stifling rigidity in following the “Ancient Myth” of classical lutherie, brought the concept of new instruments free of every restriction without any limitation of shapes and materials, coupling wood and aluminium, which is already used for its tonal properties. Chris Wynne has been building for nearly 30 years in Australia and running guitar making course throughout the world. He’s passion is not just building guitars but using Australian tone woods, as Chris has said ” Over my career l have used both traditional tone woods and Australian tone woods in guitar making and have found by using the Australian woods which has many advantages of not only being sustainable but been able to create a very beautiful sounding instrument ” He has now has a workshop in Saint Salvadou in the south of France as well as Australia.

I have always loved guitar, playing was one thing, but now building a guitar and playing it is something that enriches my life every day. Now to have the chance to exhibit in the best guitar show in the world is something l have always dreamed to be part off.

Stratmann Gitarren

Since 1990, Stratmann Gitarren has been THE address for custom made electric guitars and repairs in Hannover, Germany. Guitars and basses as well as “very special” instruments are completely designed and hand-crafted using traditional tools and machinery. All stages of manufacturing are performed in the local workshop – from best selected wood to high gloss finish and the perfect setup of each instrument. Even the pickups are handwound in the workshop to meet the individual demands of the customers as well possible.

In the spacious and well equipped workshop, Thomas Stratmann also offers guitar building courses of 2 weeks with up to 5 participants.

In 2014 and 2016, we had the chance to successfully exhibit our instruments at the “The Holy Grail Guitar Show”. It was absolutely fantastic and the perfect event for guitar afficionados! We are looking forward to taking part again this year!

Fibenare Guitars

Fibenare Guitars Co. is a 20 year-old Hungarian guitar manufacture. They build classic designs and their own models of guitars and basses.

The instruments are built from scratch, not only crafting wood by hand, but also building hardware, pickups, electronics and even the hardshell cases for the instruments. They use only traditional tools and the best materials available.

The Holy Grail Guitar Show is THE boutique show for manufacturers. Nice environment, nice people, you have time and space to talk to people, and it’s quiet too…

When Martin Duwe was twelve years old, his first stringed instrument was a triangular one.

Since then his passion for craftsmanship have never stopped.

In his workshop in Mainz only outstanding classical, flamenco and acoustic guitars are created, but also specialities such as special travel guitars, silent for the hotel or foldable for the plane.

Guitar and musician should fit well together. Therefore Martin Duwe puts great effort into individual consultation. It is about what is being played and how the customer envisions his instrument. This results in beautiful personal favourites that his customers’ compositions have been waiting for.

Building guitars is a passion, not a job. The fascination of creating something out of different woods that does not only look beautiful but also sounds wonderful to pleasure many people, are facets of this profession that inspire me. HGGS is the perfect place to share my passion with colleagues.

Gitarren Meckbach

Martin opened his shop “Gitarren Meckbach” in Berlin in 2015 after 20 years of experience within the guitar world. His luthier path started when he built his first guitar with the book “Classic Guitar Construction” by Irving Sloane, and became professional end of the 1990s at the master luthier workshop of Albert & Müller. Since his first own model creations and meantime employments at several major brand guitar distributors, manufacturers and retailers (Gibson, Hofner, Hagstrom and others) he was more than ready to go his own luthier way full-time. He loves the beauty of acoustic guitar sound and shapes.

At previous Holy Grail Guitar Shows, I met great luthiers and could find extraordinary guitars made by them. I’m very much looking forward to showing my own creations this time, meeting new customers and my old luthier friends again!

William Laskin Guitarmaker

William ‘Grit’ Laskin has been building concert level Steel String, Flamenco and Classical guitars In Toronto, Canada since 1971. He is the originator of the Bevels on acoustic guitars as well as the Sideport Soundhole. He is also known for his groudbreaking Inlay Art. The latest book on his Inlay Art is Grand Complications–50 Guitars & 50 Stories. He has received Canada’s highest award for Craft Excellence, the Saidye Bronfman Award, as well as being given the Order Of Canada, the country’s highest civilian honour for his innovative guitar work and his contributions to Canada’s music community.

The featured guitar, “SCHOOL STRIKE”, inspired largely by Greta Thunberg, has Inlay Art that focuses on the climate crisis. But this guitar was also designed in collaboration with Kora Jünger and Frank Deimel. On two Deimel guitars Kora created art also inspired by Ms. Thunberg, but expanded the theme to include other courageous young people who are changing the world.

Kora and myself will make ourselves available for a Zoom session with any who are interested and book the event with us. The scheduled time is tentatively: both Saturday & Sunday, at 18:00 Berlin time / Noon in Toronto.

I have been playing the guitar since age 9 and loved woodworking, so becoming a guitarmaker was a logical extension, and is a career I still feel passionate about.
